Biography of Adriana POPESCU

Medical doctor, senior internist, PhD in internal medicine and hepatology, 40 years hospital experience and clinical research in Bucharest, Romania and 3 years animal research in Bern, Switzerland, on viral and alcoholic hepatitis, portal hypertension, liver cirrhosis, trials on new treatments in NASH. Over 50 research papers communicated, trustee member of RASL affiliated to EASL, bord editor of Lancet in Romanian.   In the last 5 years, every year, in Paris Hepatitis Conference, I presented clinical cases of B hepatitis in immunotolerant patients and of NASH patients during the workshops. Also I reported the access to the new therapies for VHC in Romania, in round tables compairing the situation worldwide. Clinical implication in liver transplant activity in Romania.
